Description

Top of the line Inertial Navigation System specifically designed for military application on both surface warships and submarines. SURF is equipped with strategic grade sensors which guarantee high accuracy in dead reckoning, subsea navigation. Numerous output options are available, custom solution can be developed on customer’s request. SURF is fully shock tested and certified against MIL-S-901D Grade A, Type A, Class II specification.

Integrating the IMU of popular POLARIS FOGs, this class of Inertial Navigation Systems offer high accuracy and high reliability for maritime applications where accurate control of platform position and speed of are required. Standard NMEA interfaces are available to connect external GPS and speed Log. Can be provided also in INS/S version specifically customized for submarine application with a dedicated DVL interface.
