This procedure, in case of a search and rescue operation, allows to perform the following functionalities:
• creation of a report
• insertion of the event date and time
• insertion of place of event
• insertion of vessel identifiers (if any)
• identification and localization of the search and rescue units (SRU)
• selection of the search area and patterns
• selection of information recipients (regulatory and environmental authorities, vessels in the VTS area)
